What Does 1X2 Mean in Football Predictions?

Understand the 1, X and 2 outcome format used in football match analysis.

The three possible results

In the 1X2 format, 1 means a home win, X means a draw and 2 means an away win. The result is based on the score at the end of normal time unless a market explicitly states otherwise.

From outcomes to probabilities

A useful analysis shows a probability for every outcome rather than naming only one pick. This exposes uncertainty and makes close matches easier to recognise.

For example, 45% home, 29% draw and 26% away favours the home side, but it is not a high-certainty forecast.

What GraveyardCheck displays

Our match cards show the three probabilities, the model's current advice and a confidence indicator. When the data provider has not published a prediction, we state that clearly instead of inventing figures.
